About the Campaign

Over the past 27 years, ZimRights has worked with communities in advancement of human rights.  With a membership of over 200 000 people across the country, ZimRights interfaces with community experiences of injustice.  The Community Justice Campaign is our way of responding to the needs of communities and assist victims find remedy.

Three Pillars of the Campaign
CJC is structured around three pillars:

  • Prevention – assisting communities put in place measures to prevent the violation of human rights
  • Response – strengthening community response mechanisms to incidences of human rights violations.
  • Remedy – supporting communities who have fallen victim to human rights violations to access remedy.
