Celia Mukwewa

Celia Mukwewa holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Development Studies. She works as a project officer in charge of the south western region of Zimbabwe.

She is a passionate human rights activist with more than 4 years’ experience in the human rights sector. Before joining ZimRights she worked as a student intern for Child Protection society. She has over the years been a peace monitor and has supervised, trained election observers for almost three (3) election cycles in Zimbabwe. Celia is an avid reader and researcher of development-oriented literature.

She has a passion in working with indigenous minorities, sexual minorities and other communities in the margins. Celia under her current position she is responsible for the program implementation, human rights monitoring and reporting in the provinces of Mat North, Mat South and Bulawayo.
